FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about your Guarded bracelet.
What is the bracelet made of?
Our bracelets are crafted from 316L surgical stainless steel — the same medical-grade material used in surgical instruments. It's hypoallergenic, waterproof, and built to last. Available in gold and silver finishes.
What can I engrave on it?
Each bracelet includes free custom laser engraving with up to 2 lines of text (25 characters per line). Most customers engrave their medical condition on line 1 (e.g., "TYPE 1 DIABETIC") and their medication or emergency contact on line 2 (e.g., "PENICILLIN ALLERGY" or "ICE: 555-0123").
Will first responders recognize it?
Yes. Every bracelet features the universally recognized medical caduceus symbol engraved on the back. Paramedics and EMTs are trained to check the wrist first in an emergency — it's the standard protocol.
What size is the bracelet?
One size fits approximately 95% of women. The bracelet adjusts from 6.5" to 8" with an extension chain, so you can find your perfect fit.
How long does shipping take?
Since each bracelet is custom-engraved to order, please allow 3–5 business days for production. After that, standard shipping takes 5–10 business days within the US. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout. Orders over $50 ship free.
What if I'm not satisfied?
We offer a 1-year no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. If the size doesn't suit you, or you don't like the bracelet for any reason at all, we'll refund the full amount you paid. No return shipping needed.
Can I change my engraving later?
Since each bracelet is permanently laser-engraved, the text cannot be changed after production. If your medical information changes, we recommend ordering a new bracelet. Our pricing is designed to make this affordable.
Is this a medical device?
No. Guarded bracelets are medical alert jewelry designed to communicate your medical information to first responders in an emergency. They are not medical devices and should not replace professional medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider about your medical needs.
